the week to come

so i really have nothing to say except that i'm very sleep deprived. my goals for this week are
1. get more sleep. as much as i love staying up late but i really want to get more sleep even if that means coming home and taking a nap everyday.
2. to see tim make the moves on julie during the family home evening, or perhaps see the end happen even though nothing has happened. there seems to be something going on because we didn't see tim today, and when we see him he never says hi to julie. so we are going to see what happens on monday.
3. julie, i can guarentee that you're going to have a love note next week at ward prayer. the thing is that i can't really say who it's from because that would spoil the surprise. so just know that you're getting one and that we have to be at ward prayer next week.
4. phillip the dance teacher of a life time. i really want to get one of the balls or perhaps just an extra absense day. i could really use a phone number too. but let's face it... will i ever get it... nope. i could count on julie to get the phone number though and to face up to all my prediction that phillip will fall in love with julie.
and finally 5. i just can't believe that they let cry baby sandy back on. no she will not make it.

american heritage

so i had my lab today and you know that they have the quiz at the beginning of the lab. i was the only person sitting at my table to ace it. it's all because i actually read the text.
i'm keeping the food journal for dance 130 and it's really weird because when i eat something i remind myself that i should write it down. i'm really looking forward to the waffles or pancakes that will be for dinner tonight and for the office right after it.
i'm attempting to read the the Gospels in the New Testament starting today. so far i finished matthew and started on mark. true, i'm only three chapters into mark, but it's a pretty good dent.
one of the best moments of my day was when i got a phone call at about eight o'clock while i'm reading the New Testament, and it's someone asking for margarita. i said i'm sorry but she doesn't live here. the person on the other end of the line proceeds to tell me that he's a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint's and if i knew anything about the church. i was smiling to myself because it just was funny. i told him that i was a member, and he said i figured since you live at dt, but i thought that i would ask anyways. there was then the akward silence on the other end of the line and i said bye! he then said bye and hung up. talk about one of the craziest phone calls.
hey julie, tomorrow i'm going with talmage to the planetarium, no not to the jazz concert.
that was just for you!

the miracle to end all miracles!

so last semester i didn't really open any of my books, or read them. i did really well for not looking at the books. one of my resolutions was to kind of read the books for class and see what will happen.
so today i started to read the american heritage stuff. i've also read my music 202 and 190. the only things that i haven't read yet are the sociology book and the dance 130 book. i am shocked and amazed that i could actually read after not reading for so long.
only one thing remains to be said: Sweet ruckus!

i am fortunes fool!

today was just a really long day. i went to all my classes today, and nothing really interesting happened. as i got out of my sociology class i followed the huge crowd to the mariotte center. it was like a path and it was really funny to follow all the people strait to the devotional.
after that i went home and took a two hour nap. that was pretty amazing so now i could actually pay attention to my homework.
as a return to the dance 130 teacher. he actually has a facebook. it was really funny because now after class is over julie can start up the relationship. i expect to be invited to the wedding.
why am i fortune's fool you may ask? the answer is that i get to go and see my grandma at the end of the semester, and i get to try out for drumline. what more could i ask for. (i'm sure there is a lot more, but i'm writing this to humor Caleb). that's about all i got to say, so peace out caleb, i know i didn't write anything particularly good, but i hope you enjoy the blog caleb.
to make it interesting you could write what you think would make me fortunes fool, and you could even make up a ficticious story( that's for you Julie)! i'm waiting and very interested to read what you all have to write.

the truth about dance 130

truth number 1. our teacher in dance 130 is 22, unmarried, athletic, and should basically fall in love with Julie.
truth number 2. every girl in the class is basically in love with him, but it's really funny to watch them all make fools of themselves in front of him.
truth number 3. it's an intense workout especially when at the beginning of the class i do 50 sit ups, and then i do the workout.
truth number 4. i think that julie, shelley, and i will be feeling the burn in our abs tomorrow. that doesn't really excite me.
and on a side note. . . . i filled out the intent to audition form for next years drumline. hopefully i'll make it because it could be so fun, and just a real challenge compared to drumline in high school.

Everybody's free to wear sunscreen

so i made julie listen to the song everybody's free to wear sunscreen. there are so many important things that are said in that song. now we are going to listen to the music for class tomorrow. we also did an insanely large number of push ups. all in all it was a good day today.
The shout out of the day goes to that percussion kid. while i was waiting for sociology class today i sat down next to this kid who was sorting through music. i looked at the music and saw that it was snare drum music, plus i had also played lots of those songs so i was looking at the parts and then i looked up and he was giving me this look like what are you doing? i smiled and then started reading a book. it was one of the most akward moments of my life.

the last day of class

so, yesterday was pretty much the end of my classes, but i still had a percussion lesson today. the shout out goes to fred mcinnis because he is such a good teacher and i really appreciate his willingness to put up with my non existent percussion skills, and my impatience to get those skills. and it goes out to natalie lester, the geography ta. i've gone to the review session every thursday and today there was standing room only in the class. oh well.

the gangster nation has struck again!!!!!!

so i went in to practice percussion at 6. just in case you don't know, that's what i do every night. i'm sorry that i keep missing phone calls, it's just that i'm practicing percussion, so that's where i always am. anyway, i went to practice percussion, and usually the teacher isn't there, but today he was. i was rockin the beanie today.
so after a couple of minutes of conversation as he walks out the door, he asks me about the hat, he asked if i was from the west side, and i said most definitely. it's really amusing to be asked if i'm from the hood.
the shout out of today goes to zack, the kid in my book of mormon class who got a mission call to athens greece. good luck.
the killer moment today goes to nobody because today was a good day.

the many adventures of sleeping in class

i slept through pretty much all of biology on wednesday last week. 40 minutes of it. i then decide that it was pointless for me to stay and listen, so i left and got breakfast.
so today, i was late to biology kind of because i had to take a quiz in geography. i had to sit in the third row so i couldn't really sleep today. however, since i have a good grade in music 101, i fell asleep at the end when we were watching opera. it was pretty much amazing. the end.

i am the mario

i am the mario because when i go to my sister's house for thanksgiving i shall race mario kart with my neices. it shall be wonderful to finally win. maybe i shall hone my mad skills against my brother in law and my sisters. maybe i shall come back as the master of champions of the mariokart world. we shall see my friends, we shall see. at least when i come back, maybe i'll be able to win occasionally more often than now.

master of the percussion universe

i am master of the percussion universe because now i don't have to listen to a crappy band director, and the teacher actually explains what is happening, and why i play the way i play. i love my teacher. i finally understand and can maybe play well. i'm going to try out for drumline again next year, and i think that maybe i'll make it.
the shout out of the day goes to faith hill when i saw the moment that i saw her loose. it was very entertaining which is good because that is what line of work she is in. it was magical when i saw her say what and storm off. i wish that i could read lips to see what she said before she did the pose because it looks like an interesting piece to the puzzle.
the killer moment of the day is that i haven't worked on nanowrimo since maybe last friday. i have maybe 5,000 plus words which is okay, but not very good. also i got 14 out of 20 on a geography test. i wish that i could do well in that class, because it's eating me alive!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

caleb

is there ever a time when you don't kick anyone's butt at mario? i just thought that i would ask.
the shout out of today goes to jordan in biology(the kid that changes the slides) i saw him today for the first time. it was astounding.
the killer moment of today was... nothing

halloween

so i haven't been trick or treating in at least i guess one year. so i went trick or treating tonight at the boys hall. it was amazing. as one of the treats one guy made smoothies. it was really delicious.
the shout out today goes to the testing center because my test that i took today at me alive, for breakfast even though i took the test in the evening. it also goes to rick for being upset that i didn't ask him to preference. sorry rick, but i think that you're taken.
that's about all i have to say. read and enjoy while i play some mad mario kart.

my preference experience

so tonight i claim a moment of temporary insanity. i'm just glad that i was sane when i was in class today, other wise i would have asked gc. but anyways, about three hours after family home evening was over i asked talmage to go to preference with me. i finally decided to take advantage of the opportunity of all the mormon guys out here. it's slim pickings in iowa so i decided to make iowa proud and ask someone to preference. i really want to go to the ice skating one, so we'll see what happens.
i also got the mother load of cds today from bmg music. 10 cds. it was wonderful.
the shout out of the day award goes to alex bitter because of his status on the facebook, i read it and shouted out really loudly BOOMSHADOW ETERNAL. it was wonderful. alex is tired of being like a brother to everyone. it was the greatest joke of the day.
the killer moment of the day award also goes to alex. he crashed the end of family home evening and stood close to juliekins and kinda talked to her. he then came over to me a grabbed my waist. i proceeded to look in shock at juliekins, and to loose at the card game. i then told him that he was fired. he laughed and walked away. little does he know that i wasn't joking.

back to the future

so juliekins hasn't seen very many movies and i see it as my duty to introduce her to the miracle of several movies. the back to the future trilogy is the movie of choice and has been for the last two nights. we shall finish it tonight. i look forward to the experience. there are hardly any better trilogies in the world.
so shout out to ben again, yes i think that it will classify as a date. i think it could be really fun.
shout out to all my many friends out there. i just wish there was such a thing as chocolate mutiny. today was a good day. reasons why:
1. i don't have to go to my eight oclock class tomorrow because the teacher decided to take a holiday. i love him, especially his accent.
2. i got to go to my percussion class today, and realize how bad i still want to get into drumline next year. just to prove my old band director that i can do what i want to do. i'm really excited that i don't have to listen to him shooting me down all the time. he is such a loser. false....i do not miss him.
3. i got to have a relaxing day reading the dragon reborn by robert jordan. i enjoy reading it.
4. i got to join the dunder mifflin provo branch for facebook. i'm the accountant. who do you think i would fit more, the accountant or the receptionist. but i think it is really hilarious.
and finally number5. today...... was just a good day, and because i get to watch back to the future 3 tonight it makes it even better.

quiet you about preference!

so as we all know i live with boy crazy juliekins. she believes that i should ask the aquaintance/friend to preference. she says that i should bribe him with a drumstick ice cream bar. my thought is whatever. the odds are that he will probably be like you fruitcake that's the last i'll ever wave at you. elizabeth, my friend from iowa says that i have nothing to loose, which could be true. i just lack the courage i guess. julie has informed me that she will put on a roxy mask and go to class and ask him for me. crazy i know, the sad thing is that she won't be able to recognize him because of his shapshifting abilities and mad skills. i thought that at first she was just going to log onto facebook as me and ask him that way. i'm glad that she agrees that that would be soooooooooooooo mean.
let me give a shout out to ben, who since i'm going to go to the opera with him, alex thinks that i should go on a date with him. only one word: NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO. incase that wasn't enough i wish you could have seen my sarcatsic reply when alex informed me of this. our special understanding is a thing of wonder to me.
shout out to shawn saunders. i love the phrase sweet ruckus that he always says. i am in fact jealous that he started saying it first, and that i didn't think of it myself.
i was just a witness to one of the most amusing phone call of a lifetime. juliekins called ben and blaine and she asked to talk to blaine. she then put one her top secret voice and asked him for help with her preference plans for ben. blaine doesn't know what preference is from the sound of it. but make no mistake, tomorrow, will be the most amusing day of a lifetime. a day which shall be known through history as a red letter day. tomorrow i shall celebrate juliekins getting a date to preference. not as dramatic sounding when it is written then spoken.
so therefore: QUIET YOU, AND LET ME NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT PREFERENCE. IN PEACE TOO! NO MORE OUTLANDISH SUGGESTIONS FROM THE PEANUT GALLERY KNOWN AS MY ROOMATE!

Julie just wrote the funniest fake story about me and Graham. In fact, she is typing this right now. That's why there is capitalization and punctuation. Anyways, if anyone wants to read it, too bad. Love, Julie

i love drumline

his name is graham and i saw him today in the drumline. i went to the devotional and watched the drumline. i didn't see anyone that looked like him. so as i was walking home from the administations building, and i saw some kids walking to band practice. i listened and i heard the sweet music of the drumline. i went walking right through the middle of the drumline, and i looked to my right and there he was. he waved and asked how i was. i said that i was fine and then said so you're in the drumline? and he said yeah, and he apologized for how noisy it was. i said it was okay and then i pointed to the tenors next to him and said that i played those. he said oh that's really cool. i then said that i would type out my notes for him, and he said that he really apprecieated that. and then we said goodbye, and see you tomorrow. i love drumline.

the perfect guys in the ward

recently(today i mean), while at church i realized that we have lots of hot guys, and they do believe in chivalry out here. it's a wonderful world. you might think this is leading to talking about saturday, but if you want to read about that, read boom shadow. however, the biggest realization today was how hot our choir director is. he has a barely there georgian accent, actually you can hear it but it's not very thick. he also has a pocket watch satchel. i haven't gazed into his eyes to see if they're blue, but that should be a goal. but anyway, he is really good looking, funny, and very nice. also on a side note from julie, talmage is a wonderful singer and very funny also. the one thing that she forgot to add to her blog was the fact that she thinks that talmage and i make a good pair. according to julie, we just fit. how does she know this, i don't have a clue. (oh that's right, while we were laying down together in the back of a truck.) (don't worry, julie and xinyi were the chaperones. in fact, julie was resting her legs on us and that is when she saw me put my head on talmage. i think that the beautiful testimony was for julie, but she is convinced otherwise. but she would like to think it was her.
also, our home teacher is really hot. i love him and the elders quorum president is really nice and cute. our home teacher is really nice too, but julie didn't get to meet him. we'll save that for this coming sunday.
red head ben gets a shout out from julie.
so today, during sunday school, lyndie said i love you to me( she was also sitting next to the hot choir guy, mat green is the name). so i said i love you back to her. boy scout ben thought that i said that to him. it was really funny to see him turn around and talk to lyndie, because i started laughing on the inside, and lyndie and mat and boy scout ben just about started laughing on the outside. after the laughing session was over, he looked at me and gave me the i don't know shrug. it was the priceless moment of sunday school. also the priceless moment was when the teacher mixed up everything at the end of the lesson today. you could just tell that he wanted to be done for the day.
the reason that i sound so boy craxy is because a.) i live with julie; b.) it's late at night, and i'm tired because i didn't get my nap today. and i still have to have my love affair with the book of mormon. go mormon squad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
